Gerrymandering (Jeff Reichert) ***updated***

This documentary is listed as one of the Fifteen Films to See at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The trailer is very strange.  Not only is it a jumbled mess of incoherency, but throughout the trailer it uses images and video with the "Getty Image" water-mark front and center.   A little strange.  Is this a documentary on gerrymandering or on appropriation?  You decide.

***update***

As clarified by Reichert himself in the comments here, "That's actually an ages old temp trailer that NY Mag accidentally linked to."

So here's a link directly to the teaser trailer:

and here is the web address:

Thanks to Reichert for the clarification!

I think this is going to be worth seeing.

That's actually an ages old temp trailer that NY Mag accidentally linked to. A new trailer is going up today, but there's a better teaser over at our website: www.gerrymanderingmovie.com.

The film isn't about appropriation, unless we're talking about political power...

@Reichert

Thanks for the clarification!

I'm actually very glad you've made this film and was planning on seeing it (even after seeing the temp trailer!).

I'll post an update linking to your website. Hopefully this film will have the impact that we're all hoping for.

there is no art
