do you believe them? i find it interesting that they "won't release it", because they aren't interested in releasing it.

me: yo
what is popping off? son?
Daniel: i'm trying to figure out what real time animation is
after watching the video you posted
me: ya, me too,
i think it's like a video game
or a program that 'runs' in real time
Daniel: hmm
me: rather than a rendered video
Daniel: oh, putting it that way it sounds exactly like a video game
so like in the video you posted it would be like playing a racing video game or something
is what it reminded me of
me: ya, they have others on vimeo too
Daniel: so what's so special about that?
the fact that they created the enviroments before hand?
me: i think its the challenge of running it in real time,, you could make changes on the fly, for live performance maybe or for inter activity
the output on vimeo is maybe just an example
or maybe its just the challenge
this one for example http://www.vimeo.com/1007200
4 kilobytes includes the program and the music
nerd olympics
Daniel: haha

me: on their site they talk about demo scene http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demoscene ... which was a way to play videos before video games using video game processors,,
back in the day ay

Daniel: so visuals were programmed like in an exe file like in the 4k video? is this like programming the .mov file through code rather than video editing software or 3d imaging software?
Sent at 9:50 PM on Tuesday
me: i think the .mov is just proof of what happened in an exe file..
Daniel: i see
