i am seeing some seriously similar themes with electric feel and sounds electric

...MGMT

Two cool vids from the Dissociatives

MGMT

Okay so this band is awesome and their video reminded me of that music video you guys made so check it out!

"This is my contribution to the realtime 4 kilobytes visuals (usually known as "4k intro") competition for Inspire 2008 (held in Spain). It is a set of spheres with radious controlled by the Fourier Transform (without the "fast") of the music. it contains some realtime ambient occlusion and depth of field. It's done in C, using shaders (GLSL). Once again, it all fits in a 4 kilobytes executable (music, animation, rendering engine and effects). Music composition is made by Jose Manuel Perez Paredes (aka JosSs). The idea was to make something with lots of energy, and to see how well the SSAO does work with structures of spheres. I was very inspired by the experiments of Simon Geilfus on driving cubes with the sound spectrum."

Mister Rogers defending PBS to the US Senate

I just revisited this video. The first time i watched it, a few years ago, it made me cry. The second time i watched it, a few minutes ago, it made me cry.

If you want to see some truly heartfelt moments (and historically significant ones) take the time to watch this through to the end. It couldn't have been scripted better. It's very refreshing.

San Jose's 01SJ digital arts festival

From DJ Spooky's "Terra Nova," a multimedia performance piece that uses the sound of melting ice in the Antarctic, to Peter Hudson's "Homouroboros," a carousel-like spinning zoetrope with ape-like creatures, 01SJ's installations and performances allow many artists to realize their sometimes kooky, often inspired visions through the latest technological advancements.
