whoa. i lived right by the site of the murders. scary. this is a pretty sad story. how has the athens community responded. do people talk about it much?
yeah, meenakshi lives about a hundred yards from there.
it is sad.
it happened the weekend of twilight criterium. i think it was in the back of people's minds during saturday's bike races. i know i was a little on edge just waiting for him to turn back up and start shooting again. i think by monday people starting feeling that he wasn't in town anymore.
but people are still talking about it. we all got uga alert messages on our phones and in our email when it happened, and then on, i think , thursday when they found his car.
very sad. and now those two young kids don't have parents.
